Dr. Margot Ann Perez-Greene
Rev. Dr. Margot Ann Perez-Greene, an ordained elder in the United Methodist Church (UMC) and member of the Rio Texas Conference, has served as Associate Dean of Enrollment Management at Southern Methodist University | Perkins School of Theology since 2017 when she was appointed to Extension Ministries on July 1. Prior to her ministry at Perkins, she served as Pastor of El Campo UMC (TX), and Associate Pastor at Tarrytown UMC (Austin, Texas).
Margot Ann professional life has been as an educator in the public school system (17 years) and 35 plus years as an administrator in higher education. A distinguished graduate from The University of Texas, she was a Lecturer in the College of Education on traits and strategies for successful leadership and directed the National Institute for Staff and Organizational Development (NISOD) whose mission was to offer professional development internationally for college and university faculty and administrators. She provided instruction in colleges and universities across the nation on leadership and counselor education, and supervised student teachers. Margot now resides in Austin from where she hails.
