Dr. Mark Waters is Professor of Religion and Chair of the Division of Humanities, Religion, and Social Sciences at McMurry University in Abilene, Texas. He received his MDiv (1984) and PhD (1991) at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary prior to the completion of the “takeover.” He was confirmed in the Episcopal Church in 2000 after serving as a pastor in Baptist churches for a number of years. He is grateful for Fletcher’s progressive nature and excited to serve on the Board of Trustees.
